The Role
Our client is recruiting a Production Manager to lead the sites' highly skilled production team. The company are looking for an individual who can use their proven managerial skills to organise their department.
Duties
As a Production Manager / your key responsibilities will include: -
- Leading a team
- Responsible for KPI's, budget, yield and labour
- Ability to work to Lean Manufacturing Techniques
- Knowledge/Training in 6 Sigma
- Training and development of staff
- Involvement in the Risk Assessment process
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Quality management
The Person
- 2 years production management experience
- Lean Manufacturing Qualifications / Experience
- Experience of managing large teams
- Experience of working with fast paced manufacturing environment
